My wide installed it on her Macbook and now her email wont work. I cant understand it because it is just a simple POP3/SMTP setup. I upgraded it to 10.6.1 but still no luck. You may want and try to install the 10.6.1 patch too. Here is the link:

Snow also broke her VPN agent for connecting to JHU. After seeing what I've seen, I'm going to wait a while on my Mac.

I have managed to get VPN working to a Cisco Gateway.
I certainly had some errors getting SMTP settings to retain the password. I ended up backing up the keychain creating a new keychain and re-attaching the archived keychain.

Check Keychain Access and make sure there are no "Access is Restricted" messages. Once I solved that problem my SMTP passwords started being retained.
